Fantastical Calendar App Reviews

Ive purchased this app for my wife and I. Its really good. Wish it had direct access to interesting calendars like sunrise. One issue with this app is when adding invitees, it hangs for roughly 10 seconds every time. Not a deal breaker but annoying. Another issue is reminders. While integrated into fantastical, do not behave the same as iOS reminders. I just missed an appointment as a result. iOS reminders stop music and behave like an alarm. I could set that up in notifications but then all events will behave like that. Will be disabling reminders in the meantime. I would also like to accept it decline events from Facebook.

Totally addicted. Tried all productivity apps out there. Dont hesitate.

Every entry has to be entered twice before it takes. Only allowed one word description for each entry. Avoid this app if you think its an upgrade from the default calendar!

Truly hard to see why anyone likes this app: Jarring aesthetically, even in light theme. Non-existent monthly views. Useless bars on weekly view. Multi-stepped, unintuitive and laborious to use. Not showing empty days in list causes ambiguity. Watch app way too busy. Customer support is rude.

I use this app many times every day. Much better than stock apps.

DONT expect this application to help manage your future events. There is a VERY large delay 20 plus minutes to know about new invites and they don’t plan to fix that! Too bad, I liked some of the other features. Here is the direct email response from their support. " You dont have to open the app to check, but you may have to wait a little while for Fantastical to refresh in the background and for the badge icon/notification to appear. A wait of 20 minutes is not unusual, and is entirely dependent upon iOSs estimation of your usage. To reduce this wait time, try using Fantastical more frequently. "

Still my favorite. With the exception of things third party apps just cant do, this takes care of it all.

Fantastical 2 is an incredible app! It has all but replaced my Calendar and Reminders Apps on both my Mac and my iPhone 6 Plus. This app helps the user become infinitely more efficient and its user interface is incredibly intuitive. Buy it! Best Regards, Phil

Ive used this app for several month now and decided to delete it today. It took me 3 attempts to enter a event and this has happened in the past on repeated occasions. The frustration is not worth it so goodbye.

Will not access any of my calendars. Settings shows access is denied. Support advises this is an IOS bug and my only recourse is to uninstall and reinstall in the hopes to get it working...Which is not only not only not working, but unacceptable. Update...Just installed IOS 9.3 and its still a dud. If I could give it a negative rating I would.

5 stars because it does exactly what it claims: combines calendars & reminders with fantastic native language input. Lacking features? (1) Please add some form of month view and (2) PLEASE add persistent notification for reminders like default reminders app.

I would love to give this app 5 stars, and Ive been a user for so long. But they have yet to fix the watch app! Ive tried everything and calendars do not sync to my watch. It was originally an issue with MDM paired phones but Ive heard that has been fixed in iOS 9.0.2, and fantastical still does not work. What gives?!

Love the new update! Great app with support over all platforms. A must have app. The only calendar I use on my iPhone, iPad & Mac!

App crashes on startup if using iOS 9.3.

It would be nice if we could repeat task on alternate days or on different days by clicking on the days we want and how long do we want the task to keep on going.

Cannot set a due date without an accompanying alarm. It makes the app useless in many task management schemes other than Apples. For example, Exchange compatibility is meaningless if you cant use it in a way that is useful in Exchange.

I use this instead ofthe native calendar. incrediblely helpful, multiple alerts (which i need)
